A Little About Me

I grew up the oldest daughter of 8 kids in a family that celebrated pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding. My mother chose to give birth at home and included me on her own journey, educating me on normal birth from an early age.

I grew up with a strong belief that our bodies were not broken and were made to carry babies, give birth and provide nourishment to our children.

When I gave birth to my own children I also chose homebirth, and was later involved in local birth activists groups as a consumer during my early parenting years.

Following the birth of my third child I commenced my degree, graduating in 2015 from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia with a Bachelor of Midwifery. Since 2015, I have worked across a wide scope of midwifery practice, including rural, remote Indigenous work, major regional hospital setting, birth center and in home birth. Homebirth practice will always have my heart.

In 2022 my family and I relocated to the north Atlanta, GA area from Australia. I commenced a community midwifery practice. I believe in midwifery as a calling and servanthood. It is a great privilege to answer this calling and to serve the women and families in my care in North Georgia.
